Sheldrake & Wells in Ipswich undertake repair and reconditioning of car, automotive and commercial radiators. We also specialise in the production of vehicle number plates and the supply of vehicle safety belts. Most of our products can be delivered anywhere in the United Kingdom, usually by next day delivery.
About us
The company was formed back in 1975 and is now under the second generation of family management. Operating from our base in Ipswich, we cover the whole of Suffolk and parts of Essex, Norfolk and Cambridgeshire with our own delivery vehicles. Most of our products are available for next day delivery throughout the U.K. via carrier.
The company was originally formed to provide repair and reconditioning of automotive and commercial radiators but over the years we have increased the products we deal with to include number plate production, seat belt/safety belt supply and repair and other related services.
We stock a wide variety of car parts and accessories:
- For any type of industrial heat exchangers, agricultural heat exchangers, plant heat exchangers or marine heat exchangers there is a repair and/or rebuild service available.
- Truck and car charge air coolers; we have a good range held in stock, and there is a repair and re-core service available for the more unusual applications.
- New commercial fuel tanks made to your specification.
- New automotive fuel tanks available and we offer a fuel tank repair service to tanks not available or in stock.
- Commercial and automotive heaters; we hold a large in stock and a repair and reconditioning service is available.

- Air-conditioning condensers; we have many new units available from stock and a rebuilding service is available.
- New units of oil coolers are available as well as a full repair and rebuild service.
